Sending you loads of healing thoughts. Rest, and don’t you worry about your girl, actually she is getting exactly what she needs, which is a lot of love. Take care!
Sending good vibes your way. Your situation made me remember when I was pregnant with our second child and one weekend while my hubby was away for work I thought I was miscarrying. I was told by my doctor to stay in bed as much as possible which was difficult because I had a three year old to take care of—I worried that I was being a “bad” mom yet years later this daughter remembers that time as one of closeness and fun. (I basically had her bring all her toys into our bed and she played around me!)
Hang in there—by all accounts your sweet girl has her love tank full and ready to weather this time.
Peace,
Kate
Thinking of you and sending positive healing thoughts. I hope you get some answers and a huge surge of energy soon.
I am completely sure that you and your healing team are exploring all options, but I am writing to gently suggest that you consider undergoing an extra-thorough test for Lyme disease. I hear that the disease can be challenging to diagnose, but it proved to be the cause of my unexplained fatigue, body aches and flu-like symptoms. A simple round of antibiotics cleared me of all symptoms, and I was back to my old self within a couple of weeks.
Sending my best energies to you, in hopes of a rapid and thorough recovery.
Oh, Penelope. Yuck. I’m thinking of you and supporting you in these tired — and tiresome — days. Keep tending your body by resting and napping as needed … it sounds as if Veda is getting her regular big helping of your love and attention to carry her through the times when you need to entertain her with a movie and get some sleep. (As a side note, you have always struck me as a tender, attentive mother to Veda; I love reading about your relationship with her.) I mean, even the fact that you’re WITH an active three-year-old, engaging with her, while battling your own illness, and still able to function at all is pretty freaking awesome.
It’s hard to have limitations. I am struck by how you seem to be using all that’s at your disposal … you could be just lying on the couch all day (and that’d be just fine too!).
Again, thinking of you!
Sending healing thoughts your way. I hope you find out very, very soon what it is and are able to treat it. Hugs from this corner of the world.
