suckiest blogger award
July 21, 2008I am the suckiest blogger in blogland right now… my apologies. If you’ve read my brother’s site, you know that Alison is in the hospital and everything that’s going on there. (She’s not doing well at all… we’re all praying and thinking positive thoughts.) We’re knee deep in the house search and I’m swamped with jobs at the moment. So I’m way behind on blogging, emails, and letters. I’m sorry!
I have a whole lineup of things I’m going to write about though. So upcoming posts include: How I got an illustration rep, my favorite vegetarian meals, updates on the city vs. country debate, and a show-and-tell of all the work I’ve finished in the last month… I hope you’ll bare with me as I find little pockets of writing time.
Hopefully things will chill soon… I hope.

Hi!
Blogging shouldn´t be this major obligation - which means that the suckiest blogger in the world isn´t you! :)
Lots of positive energy flowing your way (and brother´s and Allison´s, of course!) and it will be good to read (again) on your experience with getting a rep. And the veggie meals. And the city vs. countryside. And, and, and…

You definitely have more to think about then blogging. And, I apologize for asking about finding a rep. at this time. That should be farthest from your concern.
Alison is in our prayers, as are her family and yours.

Don’t feel bad. Save your energy and focus for the challenges that are heading your way. Take care of yourself and your family. We’ll be here when you get back.

I started my first blog a week ago today. And on Wednesday I posted an inspiration of a painting that I love - and when I looked closely, I realized it was one of yours. In fact, it was how I found your work in the first place.
Take a look http://www.gemuetlich.blogspot.com
Sending you calmness and clarity and understanding and patience.

Penny -
I’ve been following Alison’s story ever since I read about it on your blog months and months ago. I’m praying and pulling for her and my thoughts and compassion are with Tom, you and the rest of your collective families.
You and your hubby are just amazing people to move from state to state to be with your brother and Ali. I’m sure that your presence is such a huge comfort for them. You, dear girl, are a rock star.
With warm thoughts and healing vibes,
~ Kim

Forget the blog. Concentrate on life - yours, your family’s, Allison’s. You are all still in my prayers.

Life & Family first girl. Blogging has got to be several tics down on the list. I’ll be praying for you and your family. Take care.

Pen,
I’m so so sorry to hear about Alison. I am so sad for her and for your family. I will try to conjure some magic over here in the pacific for her…salty water…miracles…whatever comes. Love to you, p.

I agree with the others, let yourself off the hook about blogging unless it feels good to you, right? We are all glad you are there for Alison and Tom. Let Tom know we are praying for him also as well as Alison.
PS When you say city are you taking about Indianapolis? As a flight att, I have been there and thought it was quite lovely. Midwestern citites are unlike other cities just be gald you are not in Southern Cal ( I lived there, no privacy at all.) I live it a tight New England neighborhood now and yes I have to wave to my neighborhors constantly-but inly in the summer when it gets cold we all hibernate, ha!
