guests and unpredictable spring
April 1, 2008We’ve had guests the last five days… Colin’s sister and her friend Tricia. It’s been wonderful to spend time with them, but of course, the weather didn’t cooperate most of the time. So we’ve been reading and napping and talking and just hanging out. Which is just as well. Enjoyable. :)
Woke up to fog this morning. I love fog. Fog is like a permission slip to sleep in.

Amazing to see someone in a tank top - we got 7 inches of snow yesterday! Someone’s idea of an April Fool’s joke, no doubt.

I was thinking the same thing as Carol! Hopefully we’ll see tank top weather soon. Mine are starting to get dusty just sitting on the shelf. Hope all is well with you and the words that you are having a hard time getting out. For some reason as soon as I read that post, I had this feeling that you and Colin may be “expecting”. :) Whatever it is, the words will come when the time is ready. Looks like you are having a nice, sleepy, foggy day. Peace.

It sounds good! You’re so right about the fog… you couldn’t give me a more precise feeling about the fog “Fog is like a permission slip to sleep in”. Wonderful!

I love fog! It looks magical, like a brand new world could be there underneath, you never know! And it smells good too.

“Fog is like a permission slip to sleep in” … I love that! And I love these photos — so foggy and sleepy and good for staying inside with a cup of tea …
