retreat

hello there… I want to thank you for your kind words about my grandpa’s passing. And for sharing stories of your own grandparents. We all experience this, don’t we?
I had a couple of surprises to reveal last week, but didn’t foresee being out of town. So they will have to wait till next week I suppose. (I am slowly learning that my timing rarely lines up with the universe’s timing. And I have the choice to be stressed about it or just go with it.)
We are leaving for a little retreat in just a few minutes. A cabin on the beach. A few dozen books. A journal. And some alone time to step away and be still. I can’t wait.

Belated sympathies on the passing of your Grandfather. It sounds like you have had a rough couple of weeks. Relax and rejuvenate at the beach cabin! (that sounds like a wonderful thing!) My thoughts are with you.
