shooting star
October 12, 2007My Sacred Life: Day 2
Yesterday’s moment of grace came late last night. All week I’ve been fighting the yuck… things bubbling beneath the surface that I’m just not ready to look at yet (whole diff story that I’m not sure if I can/want to share). Colin worked late, so I was, of course, distracting myself with all my various potions and notions. I decided to take Vince outside for some air, (and to play the flashlight game… he loves chasing the light around) and the cool air reminded me to just be and let all my inner-spaghetti go for a minute. And that’s when I saw a shooting star fly across the sky. just for me.

I was (and am) really happy you saw that, but… nothing puts the “suck” in a sucky late night at the office like a call from your wife saying she just saw a shooting star, and you missed it.
Dang!

a lucky star for a penny…so i have to ask, did you gasp, shriek, hold your breath, laugh out loud? there is nothing really like those flying stars, is there? they really pull you out of yourself for a second on a wild ride and then zap you back on earth laughing in awe… big hug to you. it was nice to connect yesterday. xojsue

‘hope that you made a wish (even if you didn’t, it isn’t too late to do so!). and ‘hope that the bubbling yuck passes soon
