Solo show info and close ups
August 28, 2007Here are some close ups and buying info for the solo show pieces, if you are interested. I’ll try to take more later (busy this week!):
This one is quite large… I realize I should have put something in the picture for scale. oops…

and some close ups:

This one is the same size as the blue one…

Here’s a smaller piece and some close ups of it:

And another:

The show opening is at the Harrison Art Center in Indianapolis on September 7th (the day after I turn 30!). I will have 21 pieces for sale total. If you are interested in purchasing one, please email or call the gallery director: Joanna Taft (jtaft @ harrisoncenter.org - take out the spaces) and she will be able to help you. :)

I LOVE the way you framed these…it’s so raw and beautiful! Patrick and I will have to try to make the show.

penny, these are just gorgeous. i think it may have been dylan thomas (?forgive me?) who wrote about “a girl as mad as birds”, which the final portrait reminded me of immediately upon seeing it. well done, sister. i love that you are creating the life you want and saying NO to those projects which you don’t want to do-for whatever reasons of your own which is no one’s business but yours! :)p

Beautiful work. I love the brush work and simple peacefulness to it. They have a great natural/nature look and feel. Incredible work. Thank you for sharing.
