FINISHED!
August 23, 2007I am DONE (!) with all the artwork for this solo show. In the end, I decided to reuse one older piece and two oversized prints from a previous show. So in all I have ended up creating 21 pieces of art in the last month. More than exhausting. But I feel really good about it all. (even if my brother doesn’t like some of them - tongue sticking out at you TOM! just kidding. Not everyone will respond kindly to every piece. I am aware of this. And okay with it.) But I am proud of myself and really really hope it’s a good show…
And now I’d like to rest.
Here are the pieces for the solo show:

Way to go! My favorites are the “pear woman”, the hammock, and the one where the woman has her arms around the sun (or moon?). Best wishes for a successful show.

wow, very loose and sketchy in some of these. I like how you captured the carefree nature of a doodle and transformed it into something more special.

It’s been a long time since commenting here. This is such a great accomplishment for you. I hope the show is a smashing success. Good luck Penelope.
