botanical gardens

“Your mind and your external reality are in a constant state of flux. Every second of your life you are creating or constructing your reality through what you think about and what you take in from your environment… Since you are meditating all the time, the question is, ‘what are you choosing to meditate on?’.”
~Madonna Gaulding, The Meditation Bible
Needing some inspiration for the 13 remaining solo show pieces, Colin and I headed to the botanical gardens… and wow, inspiration overflow! The botanical garden in our city is rockin’… you walk in and feel like you’ve entered another world. Giant elephant ears, plank bridges and shady little nooks to sit and sketch in. Some of the flowers look like they could gobble you up. So pretty. I choose to meditate on that for a while.

Hi dear Penelope, I’m still here, you’ll soon hear from me, I promise :)
At first glance I thought it was a underwater photo. Very beautiful.
