solo show, work #3

June 28, 2007

Here’s the third piece I just finished for the show. Still unsure about titles… so for now, it’s temporarily called “pink”.

Show details: Opening September 7th (the day after my birthday!) in Indianapolis Indiana at the Harrison Center. The show is part of the Curious City event sponsored by my old agency, Young & Laramore. If you live around Indy, come see me in September. :)

I think you should call it “girl with blue teapot”.

    Just to confuse people. :)

On the serious side - beautiful work! It’s going to be quite a show.

This is just lovely. Love the sketchy feel. It reminds me of figure drawing classes I took in college. Oh, happy days spent in studio classes.

    Thanks for sharing.

Congratulations on yet another exhibition! Wow! You work HARD, Girl! I can’t believe how much artwork you can create in a week. I think you are an Artist Superhero. Do you have a paint-splotched cape in the closet?

Speaking of your beautiful artwork, I visited my niece in Canada recently and during a tour of her new house, in her bedroom, I stopped in my tracks. There on her dresser was a Penelope print! I let out an A-hah! Penelope! She started laughing and said that she had fallen in love with that particular print of yours - so much so that she bought TWO! The second one is hanging in her office. :)
