This is stunning! I always enjoy all the movement in your pieces, and you have a good eye for color combination.

I really love the colors here! Very soothing, indeed going with your “nature” theme.

hey girl.you have the energy going–and it’s contageous. thanks for sharing these.it’s nice to have another friend painting for a show at the same time–everytime we share what we’re doing will only inspire and push the other more! katherine and i are like that…like, dang, when did you whip that one out? i better get moving…it’s a healthy competitiveness. i like this piece, too. it seems a little tighter than the last–i remember you took some risk with the last one and scratch or wiped it down…with water maybe? i think that added so much to that last one. maybe around this one it would help with the face to soften. just an idea. but really, it’s beautiful. keep it goin, girl. xoj

Penelope - Thanks for sharing your new work…it is so beautiful! What a wonderful concept for the show, to connect people with nature. It’s very uplifting. Can’t wait to see more.

p.s. the angles and contours of this girls face ~
compare with the photo of you in the post above.
:)
i’m such a believer in how our own selves infiltrate our own work.
i always think my girls look like my little sister,
then realise it’s because my little sister looks like me :)
hugs to you, rocking creation goddess!
