Notes on Design - episode 4

March 28, 2007

Fourth episode is up… (final painting stage)
(and a chance to see one of my new pieces that I haven’t blogged about here yet.)

Gotta get back to work… so much to do I feel a little insane…

i’m loving your notes on design, bella.

i think you should dedicate yourself a good 3 minutes to having a crazy feelin-a-wee-bit-insane dance. always makes me feel tons better. especially if i dance with my dog.

think of it as whole-body-release yoga.

    it will all pass :)

Hi Penelope, I’ve enjoyed reading all of your notes on design. It’s so interesting to see how you work, from start to finish. And it’s pretty cool to see that you are confident and open with discussing illustration (so many people are secretive about how they work). The illustrations that you made for the Notes are terrific - very retro-looking, like the designs on 1950’s tablecloths (I love those so please take that as a compliment!). Thank you for sharing!
