new piece (and new banner)
March 7, 2007Thanks for all your compliments on the new banner… it was definitely time for some spring pink, don’t you think? I’m ready for the flowers to say hello.
Here is the piece that I cut up to create the banner:
This is a piece done for the Baltimore Sun about a bride-to-be that was hesitant to immerse herself in all the wedding planning hoo-hah. But she is intrigued by it all and eventually finds herself diving in head first… flowers, colors, invites… the whole nine yards.
I’m loving pink these days!

Lovely painting, Penelope. It has a vintage feel to it. I can even see this image on a cool little tea towel (that’s a compliment - I love my aprons and tea towels!).
