Prevention Magazine, Talking Veggies
This project for Prevention Magazine was SO MUCH FUN (even if it never got published). I just love doing typographical assignments. They seem to really open me up creatively and make me feel inspired… My favorite part is seeing all the different letter parts and pieces and experiments on paper all around my little studio when I’m done.
This was for an article titled “What Your Produce Doesn’t Want You to Know”. And it talks about what pesticides are involved with each type of produce and what kind of protection each does – or doesn’t – have. Pretty interesting stuff. :)
Here are the pieces (no I didn’t write them):

And here they are in layout:

*Note: these ended up not being published. The magazine went with photography instead. Bummer!

[...] for those not subscribed to the feed, I just posted a new project in the News section. [...]

HOLY DINGER I LOVE THESE SOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!
gorgeous and super fun! did they provide the photos or did you take them?
Oh, these are just great! I get completely terrified about the typography part of illustration assignments. I’ve always found your type work to have loads of energy and character. These are no exception. Very Cool!
