noticing

samesamesmall

noticing similarities on my walk. scribbly tar lines. scribbly trees.

noticing that i feel different when I make space for yoga and sitting every day. creating ways to do that.

noticing that i breathe too shallowly when i rush around. when i am mindful i breathe more deeply.

noticing that when i write things down they come true. better be careful with that.

noticing that whatever you project comes back to you. better be careful with that one too.

noticing tingling in my toes. in my hands. in my knees.

noticing little eyes watching and mimicking.

noticing where i have choices. and where i don’t.

noticing a few green plants inside makes a difference.

I know what you mean about yoga. I had taken a couple weeks off, then I had an amazing class last night that just left my body and mind feeling so much better! Love the pictures.

…thanks for that, a way of making us all pause for a moment, and notice those little, most important of things, too.
The similarities between the tar and the trees is quite incredible!
I seem to remember from an old post that you like Andy Goldsworthy, I don’t remember if you have his DVD “Rivers and Tides” or not, I’m a great fan of his and love the DVD. The other day I was rooting through the internet for some short videos to share of him. I posted two up on my blog, i didn’t plan on mentioning that in this comment, but somehow they just seem to tie in well with what you wrote, given the profondity of Andy Goldsworthy’s reflections, works and words. Maybe you might like to watch them, if you haven’t seen them already.

Thanks Penelope for sharing your lovely way of seeing the world with us!
