Veda is 8 months old. Time has flown by and I can’t believe I’m looking at such a big girl already. She’s all smiles usually. As happy as can be. And we are having so much fun. We love exploring the world together… picking apples, walking through the woods, hearing sounds, reading books, singing songs. I love it. I remember how hard the new-born months were. I didn’t think I’d survive. And I didn’t handle it with much grace or dignity or ease. I wish I would have known then how temporary those hard months were. How quickly they’d be nothing more than memories. 8 months later, I can say… Life. Is. Good. Motherhood is beautiful.

so adorable. my son is nine months today, and I could probably write the exact same blog posting. I was so anxious and worried the first months, and looking back now it seems like the shortest amount of time. he’s at such a fun age now I try to enjoy every single moment.

she’s gorgeous! i’m terrified to (hopefully) have a newborn someday soon, but will remember your words of wisdom!
My little guy is going to be 11 weeks in a few days and this is just the encouragement I need! He’s a great baby, easy by most standards, but new motherhood… not so much. Thanks for openly sharing all the dirty details. It really helps me feel sane and excited for what’s to come.

she is really beautiful, and she’s already so big! I still remember all the pics of you pregnant :) yes, it is tough getting through the newborn phase, but in the end it is worth it! good for both of you :)

8 months! time has flown :-) Those little teeth are so cute. I check my 6mo every day in hope of some little pearlies coming through.
oh I was just remembering this age with my husband last night, watching videos we recovered from our laptop crash. You are in for some of the best months of your life! In my opinion 6months to 18 months are the most savory, yummy months ever!
4.5yrs old is yummy too, it just comes with some garnishes that can have a bit of a bite to them:)
