I feel privileged to have been able to spend your first Mother's Day with you (and Veda; I won't lie :), and relieved that you liked the necklace ;) I'm happy I was with Colin that day at that little wood shop in Winona Lake (hehe :) It was a bit of a feat trying to hide it from you, though! You have freakin' hawk eyes! I really wish you guys lived closer, but the fact that you don't makes every visit that much more sacred...and special...and always highly anticipated! Here's hoping you make your way back to Indy soon, and maybe someday stay for a while again. Miss you! My daughter is 2.5 now and this was the first mothers day where she actually gave me something she made herself! At daycare she painted a little birdhouse for me and made a card with her handprints. I wanted to take the birdhouse to work, but she really likes it too and wants me to keep it at home (so she can play with it!) :) hehe.. motherhood is wonderful. I'm glad it's going well for you! truly beautiful. brunch is great!
