1. Going to a crystal shop next week.
2. A whole month off in September when I can read and play and hike and relax.
3. Two camping trips planned to sleep among the redwoods and stars.
4. October, turning leaves, pumpkins, crisp evenings.
5. Sleeping in on Sunday.

Here are my carrots, and I’d like to have them while I’m still healthy!

1. Getting work as an illustrator
2. Creating a Children’s Book
3. A home with room for a studio & office
4. To not get depressed when I’m not selling my work
5. To never go back to Corporate America

thanks for allowing us to share what great carrots. My carrots are mostly distant and unrealistic for now… but here goes.
*Getting my Masters.
*Getting a home of our own and it being EASY.
*Being able to combine work with something I love to do, art, education, singled out sections of our population.
*Having a 4 day work week
*Having family be the people you think/want them to be.
*Having my own garden.
*Finding home, in self, in surroundings, in building in everything.
*Finding a rythmic happiness for my life and husbands life.

1. Having a relationship w/ my 32 yr. old son
2. Being able to watch my grandchildren grow up
3. A swimming pool in my yard
4. A nice foreign trip with Jack
5. Medical insurance from employer
6. Being able to sell my shop someday and retire for good
7. Lose 40 lbs.
8. All my children knowing and loving God

* a trip to charleston in october (never been to that part of the country!)

* ovulating next week (that’s a carrot that has never turned into anything yet, but gives me hope every month!)

* planning a trip for my 30th birthday this fall

* making braised short ribs for dinner, along with a yummy salad

* going to a fancy french restaurant with my husband and best friends on saturday

* the thought that i might get caught up on work enough that i can actually enjoy the new work that i have coming in next month…

I’m in talks with a rep who is interested in my work. We are meeting face to face in a few weeks. This is a very big deal for me.

Working on some very cool projects that I will soon post about.

Entering some interesting illustration related competitions

Feeling like my career as an illlustrator is taking off.

Feeling extra creative and inspired.

Looking forward to an upcoming getaway in September or October. Possibly Savannah, Georgia. I’ve always wanted to visit the grande old homes there.

my carrots hmmmm.
completing college so I feel like these last 5 years of studying have been for something

working part time from home so I can be with and raise my daughter as I have always hoped and dreamed I’d be able to

dancing again. I haven’t danced in years but I feel as if I need it right now. To feel free and beautiful and creative again.

getting to know my daughter more. she is two months today. trying to ENJOY the time I have with her. sometimes its hard, but I can’t wait to see her blossom and grow and know that I can have a profound positive effect on her life.
