chilly evening
- flannel pjs and a thin red woobie with black piping
- mug of hot chocolate
- all caught up on laundry… fresh sheets
- swept floors
- remembering the new mental videos I created this past week of bike riding with my mom, brother and husband
- more mental snapshots of gardening and digging toes into the sand
- skipping the movie to read books
- admiring alison’s bravery over the last week
- looking forward to a lecture at the library tomorrow
- wool slippers
- new idea for a painting series… hoping it works like it does in my head (need a break from difficult art)
- playing scrabble

Hi Penelope, I just have to say that in a very short time I have become addicted to your blog. I stumbled upon your site one day a while back while checking out other Artist’s websites to get inspiration (steal ideas that work) for my own website. I love your site – your work is so delicious I just want to eat it and the format of your whole site displays it wonderfully and is very easy to navigate. You have me motivated to include the blog feature on my site when I get it up and running – it makes the site so much more personal. I am an artist/mommy from the east coast who ended up un rural Utah. I love it here, but there is not a community of other artist’s. I miss that. Reading your blog makes me feel a little more connected to the creative flow that is going on for the other artist’s in the world. Anyway – I just thought I should say hi because I keep reading your blog every couple of days and was beginning to feel like a stalker :) – Betsy Kelley
