Hey Penelope,
Love the carrots in hummus. Great idea!
Here’s my 10 things to cheer about right now...

1. long walks in the warmer weather
2. my sketchbook
3. a new wacom tablet
4. completing projects that have been hanging over my head for months
5. seeing the first robin (come on Spring!)
6. my warm, fuzzy cat curled up purring on the footstool
7. cinnamon oatmeal and watching the Upside Down Show with my son in the morning (it’s hilarious even if it is a kid show)
8. Kimya Dawson’s music and the entire Juno soundtrack
9. red zinger tea
10. spiritual growth

Take care!~ and congrats on that new niece/nephew.

7. Hawaii

8. Remembering to finally bring my coffee cup to work

9. Dogs who run to the gate to greet you when you come home

10. Sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, all the folks that make up our quirky family

Penelope, your blog gives me hope every day! Thank you, and hurray for hummus!
My personal cheer for the day: Seeing sustainability lessons I wrote over a year ago actually being taught to kids today! Woohoo!

I am also reading A New Earth...it really changes the way we look at things. I find that I can see past people's words and understand that they are just that...words. And we are so much more than our egos. Yea, it is very insightful! I am grateful for the quiet of a snowy day, and that I can work from home, looking out at white snow, hungry little birds, and big, Indiana trees...and for the sweetest little calico cat sitting on my lap purring while I drink coffee and explore new ways to teach my nursing students. Life is pretty good in the present!
