oh boy, I’m having a hard time getting into the swing of things again. It’s so quiet here in my studio. Suddenly alone and peaceful. It’s a good thing, but an adjustment still.
Lots of stuff taken in over the last week… I slept a lot and read a lot, got mauled by a sting ray, chased by a rooster in a graveyard, and given the evil eye by a barracuda. I cried a big cry, laughed until my back hurt, felt at peace with the universe. I drank a lot of salt water and felt the warm sand on my bare toes.
I also made a step toward being more compassionate. A leap toward learning myself. And a tiptoe back in patience.
But for now, I’ll leave you with that. I have some stuff to catch up on, and I’ll have pictures to show soon.

sounds like it was a good trip. i went away for three days and it felt like a month. glad you are back and can’t wait to hear about the contest!

You look lovely as an octopus. Everything sounds great except for the crying and the stingray. I’d love to hear the details of the rooster/graveyard escapade. There’s a painting in that for sure. Thanks for the constant inspiration!
