It’s hot.

What do you do when it’s 95 degrees out and there’s no pool? That’s right. Slip ‘n Slide, baby.

Yeah, we’re grown ups.

    Wow! Are they quadruplets?

    Just kidding ;)

  2. Alison says:

I was just thinking the other day how much fun it would be to get a slip n’ slide!

  3. denise says:

Looks like fun! Except it also looks like you need more “slide” to slip on. :)

And, what a great backyard…lots of open space!

Oh, I love the photos! So colorful and joyful! :-)

  5. Jan says:

How about a blow up pool, a truckload of sand and some beach balls to complete the scene.

  6. sea breeze says:

Oh man! I love to think that you were slippin’ and slidin’ while, on the other side of the country, my “adult” friends and i were having a water balloon fight. Yes we were!

  7. Rachael says:

    Awesome!

  8. Michele says:

    That’s so awesome.

    ::chuckles::

  13. Colin says:

Actually, there *were* a couple of tip-offs that we’re not kids anymore… first, we both ended up hobbling around sore for the rest of the day, and second, when it was over I hosed off and went in for a beer.

  14. amanda says:

    so so awesome.

  15. Laur says:

Thanks for the entry about being sore. I wondered about that. The ground is not nearly as forgiving as it was when we were kids. At least you don’t have to worry about sliding over tiny apples.

  16. Jpaper says:

Remember when we weren’t 1/2 the length of a slip-n-slide? That was great. I always had a lot of momentum though since I was a chubby kid, so I guess there was never really a time that I didn’t do the “slide beyond the slip-n-slide grass stained belly slide.” Still good times. We’re adults now, which means we can buy four of those suckers and line them up. Shazam!

  17. Pam says:

That top picture is interesting. It looks like a set of quad brothers doing the slip and slide! How do?

  18. Amy says:

    I’m so there! WHEEEE!
Great action shot & the one of you is so cute!
